Next to your wedding gown, shoes play the second most important role in your wedding day attire.  You want to look beautiful yet be comfortable throughout your day.  Be sure to select a shoe that fits the style of your gown, and bring it to your first fitting.  The seamstress will hem your dress according to the height of your heel.  If you are wearing a casual gown, select a flat shoe, a low heeled shoe or a sandal.  Stilettos, pumps or any high heel will compliment your formal gown.  Peep toe pumps are one of the hottest trends, but blister beware.  If you are not accustomed to wearing high heels, choose a mid sized heel and be sure to break them in prior to your wedding day.

Give your self the best of both worlds by wearing that sexy heel during your ceremony, photos and first dance, then kick them off and slip on something that suits your personality while giving you comfort.  Many brides today are wearing flip flops (with a bit of bling) during the reception – typically your dress is long enough to conceal them, so who cares? Your feet sure will!
