FAQ’s

I just got engaged, have a very busy job and just don’t know where to start!

If you are feeling overwhelmed at the thought of planning the best day of your life, then you should call in the professional’s. The average wedding can take between 200-300 hours of planning! A wedding professional can help get you organized and put things into perspective. My fiance and I haven’t talked about a budget yet. Should we discuss this?

Absolutely. Anyone who is helping to pay for the wedding should be involved in this discussion. A budget will keep things in line and keep you from overspending. After establishing your budget, you may not know how to allocate the funds. The team at Perfect Wedding Planning has the knowledge of what things cost in today’s market and will be able to give you a realistic idea of where to spend your money.

How do my fiance and I come up with my wedding day design or theme?

Your wedding day design should be a reflection of who the two of you are. Make a list of what you like to do, what’s important to you and how you live. Are you casual beach go-ers, golfers or do you like heading out for a fancy dinner? How is your house decorated? From there, you can start pulling ideas from books and magazines about colors and concepts. Bring this information with you to your initial consultation, as your wedding planner will be able to bring all of this information into one cohesive design that reflects your personalities.

Do I really need someone to direct the ceremony or can I ask a family member?

Leave rehearsal and ceremony direction to a professional – you, your family and your guests will be happy and stress free.  A wedding coordinator should be the only one in charge of the music, flowers, microphone, who is where prior to walking down the aisle, etc. This is regular business for us wedding professionals, so we can make it happen while you and your family enjoy.
